Who we are
We are a family-owned and operated neighborhood grocery located in the historic village center of Marine on St Croix, MN. The Marine General Store is the oldest continuously operationing general store in the state of Minnesota! Pictured here are the owners, Cheryl and Gordon Arcand.
What Makes The Gen Unique?
We stock many meats, including ground-in-store hamburger, dairy, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, light fishing tackle and camping items, fresh baked breads and cookies, General Merchandise, and a full service deli with made from scratch soups and daily lunch specials. Everyday after 3p.m. fresh Rotisserie chicken is available. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from our coffee bar.
